Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the respondents to provide protection based on the representation dated 12.05.2015 of the petitioner, to the lives of the petitioner and his workers and to his quarry unit functioning as per the license granted by the District Collector, Dindigul in his Na.Ka.No.311/2013(mines), dated 16.12.2013.

Seeking a direction to provide police protection, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the records.

3. After making submissions the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is suffice that the respondent police is directed to look into the complaints of the petitioner dated 07.05.2015 and 12.05.2015.

4. Considering the same without going into the merits of the case the respondent is directed to look into the matter and take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ appropriate action within a period of two weeks from the date of

receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
