ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to file a final report in Crime No.776 of 2016 under appropriate sections of IPC.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though he sustained fracture in the forearm and underwent a surgery, the case has been registered only under Sections 147, 148, 294(b) and 323 IPC; it has been done deliberately in order to enable the accused to get bail; and therefore, the petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to file the final report by incorporating the relevant and proper sections of IPC.

4.Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents today filed a status report, wherein it is stated that after recording the statement of witnesses viz., the defacto complainant and his mother Vijaya, the case has been altered to Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 325, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. He would submit that the second respondent requires four months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.776 of 2016.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.776 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
