ORDER
The petitioner/Accused Not known filed this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.239 of 2020 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Keelakarai Police Station, Keelakarai, Ramanathapuram District, wherein he is said to have committed offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 & 506(ii) IPC.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 21.08.2020 when the father of the petitioner (A1) return from the marriage function of his relative, the de-facto complainant driven a TATA Ace bearing Registered No.TN65 2769 with rash and negligent manner hit the two-wheeler of the A1. There was a wordy quarrel between A1 and the de-facto complainant. For the wreck vengeance against A1, the de-facto complainant conspired with the other persons assembled with deadly weapon and abused their family members in the house of A1. Hence, the de-facto complainant preferred a complaint before the respondent police
on 22.08.2020 and the same was registered in Crime No.239 of 2020 for the above said offence and to quash the same, the petitioner filed this petition.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation in Crime No.239 of 2020 has been completed and charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ramanathapuram in E-filing NO.1866 of 2023.
4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
