The Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 not to harass the petitioner. 2.Heard Mr.V.Kannan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Ramar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4.

his wife and she gave a complaint to the second respondent on 22.08.2017 and no case was registered by the second respondent. It is further stated that the fifth respondent once again gave another complaint to the third respondent, which was later forwarded to the fourth respondent police and based on the said complaint, the fourth respondent is harassing the petitioner and threatening the petitioner to give divorce to the fifth respondent. It is stated that the fifth respondent is threatening the petitioner by giving a false case as against the petitioner. 4.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the complaint was given by the fifth respondent's father, namely, the petitioner's father-in-law, as against the petitioner for serious offences and that the petitioner is also complained for assaulting his wife. Further the complaint was enquired into and closed with a warning to the petitioner, not to ill-treat his wife. It is further stated that no further enquiry is contemplated and there is no question of harassment. 5.Recording the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
