PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.401 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A.3, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.03.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 3 (2)(a), 4(1), 4(2)(c) and 6(1)(b) of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.401 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 13.03.2022 at about 12.00 noon, the de-facto complainant went to the Spa Massage Centre for taking massage and seven persons are inside the massage centre, But in that centre, they are doing brothel and on seeing the defacto complainant, the petitioner escaped from that place. Based upon which, the present case came to be registered against the petitioner and other accused.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner was detained by the Commissioner of Police, Tiruchirappalli City, vide order dated 05.04.2022. 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the fact that the investigation is pending as stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.In the result, this Criminal Original Petitoin is dismissed.
