The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Staff Nurse working in the Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai on deputation from Tambaram Sanitorium TB Hospital, seeking a Mandamus directing the authorities to confer priority in the ensuing counselling under spouse category to Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner's husband is working in Madurai and she has been posted at Thambaram Sanitorium TB Hospital on deputation. Whenever the transfer counselling is conducted, she claims priority under spouse working category to be allotted to Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. She has already 2/5
submitted her option form to be transferred to Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai on 25.02.2024. She has addressed representations to various authorities on 29.02.2024. Since they were not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that the petitioner has submitted a option form on 25.02.2024 and as and when the counselling is conducted for transfer of nurses, the petitioner's request would be considered based upon her seniority and priority.
4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
