ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 147,148,452,324,326,506(ii),436,307 r/w. Section 149 of IPC and Section 3(i) of TNPPDL Act, 1992 in Crime No.397 of 2011, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the name of the petitioner is not found in FIR.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that after receiving summons, the petitioner did not appear before the concerned Court and hence, NBW was issued on 22.06.2016. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present petition and prayed for dismissal of this petition.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has already received summons and he did not appear before the concerned Court and the NBW is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
