Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner wants mutation of the revenue records in his favour in respect of the petition mentioned property. The petitioner would place reliance on the report of the second respondent in this regard. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter.
