Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to give permission and police protection for conducting Sri Valli Thirumanam Drama Programme in connection with 9th Mandagapadi of Uruvatti Arulmigu Sri Periyanayaki Amman temple festival scheduled to be conducted on 05.04.2020 at night hours between 10.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. on 06.04.2020 based upon the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2020. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Kulanthai Vikram For Respondents : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate(Crl. Side).

O R D E R

The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to permit him to conduct the petition mentioned event.

2. The petitioner's counsel states that there is no rival claim and the issue has no implication for maintenance of law and order.

3. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to issue proceedings permitting the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions as regards timings and all other aspects in the permission proceedings.
