ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J) This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate steps to open and running on regular basis of the two ration shops in Shop No.28BP005PN at Perumalpuram and the Ration Shop No.28BP0202PN at Subramaniyapuram, Aralwaimozhi, Kanyakumari District within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

2. Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader would submit that the recruitment process for appointment of salesmen in Fair Price Shops is under way and written test has also been completed. Results of the written test are awaited. When the results are published and the appointment will be made, the Ration Shops will start functioning in full strength. 3.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. Liberty is given to the petitioner to seek reopening, if the Ration Shops do not resume after the period of 6 months. No costs.
