PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to dispose of the Appeal filled by the petitioner in A3/7414/2017 and to pass orders in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to dispose of the Appeal filled by the petitioner in A3/7414/2017 and to pass orders in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.When the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submitted that notice of enquiry has been issued on the appeal filed by the petitioner by the second respondent and if reasonable time is fixed, the appeal will be heard and disposed of.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions from the second respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage by issuing the following directions:

W.P(MD)No.6335 of 2021 i.The second respondent before whom, the appeal is pending, shall dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.; and ii.The second respondent is also directed to communicate the order passed thereon forthwith to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
