Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the relief fund for the damages caused due to Gaja cyclone for the loss of cattles, paddy in two acres and 35 coconut trees (in S.F.Nos.22/20, 22/21, 31/2, 22/22 at Pallathividuthi, Revenue Village, Alangudi Taluk) and for the grievous injury sustained by the petitioner's son, namely Sudarsanapandian based on the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2018.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner suffered a damage during the recent "Gaja" cyclone. According to the petitioner, he was paid a sum of Rs.10,200/- for the damage of house and Rs.12,200/- towards the loss of 10 coconut trees. The petitioner's grievance is that the first respondent has not taken note of the following losses:- a) Loss of 25 coconut trees.

b) Loss of 10 Goats.

c) Loss of 1 Cow.

d) Loss of Paddy in 2 Acres e) Grievous injuries to the petitioner's son. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The first respondent shall enquire into these aspects through his officials and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law for granting suitable compensation. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter.

4. This Writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
