ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a case in crime No.97 of 2022 has been registered against the petitioner's husband and he was arrested and thereafter released on bail. He further submitted that the petitioner is not involved in any offence, but the third respondent police continuously harassed the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is also alleged to have forwarded the defamatory massage in the social media, on that ground only enquiry has been made. Except that, no harassment was made.

4.Since a case has been registered against the husband of the petitioner, it is the duty of the petitioner to co-operate with the enquiry officer to complete the investigation. During the course of enquiry, if any necessity arises, the third respondent shall enquire the petitioner by 2/4

issuing summons. The petitioner is directed to appear before the enquiry officer and co-operate with him to complete the investigation.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
