PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai to dispose of the case in S.T.C No.1023 of 2017 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. For Petitioner : Mr.S.C.Herold Singh

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai to dispose of the case in S.T.C No.1023 of 2017 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai to dispose the case pending in STC No.1023 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on hall hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
