ORDER
The present miscellaneous petition is filed seeking extension of time to comply with Conditions in Crl.MP(MD)No.684 of 2026 in Crl.RC(MD)No.50 of 2026 dated 12.01.2026.
"5(i) Petitioner is directed to deposit 50% of cheque amount to the credit of C.C.No.114 of 2018 dated 27.02.2024 on the file of Fast Track Court Judicial Magistrate @ Magisterial Level, Karur, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the sentence suspended shall stand automatically vacated and respondent is at liberty to execute the sentence imposed by the trial Court against the petitioner in the manner known to law."
2. In the said order, petitioner was directed to deposit 50% of the cheque amount to the credit of C.C.No.114 of 2018 dated 27.02.2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. However, he had not complied with the said order. 2/4

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioner submits that despite efforts they were unable to mobilize funds and thus was not able to comply with the direction of the Court. However, he would submit that petitioner undertakes to pay 50% of the cheque amount within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel for respondent has not raised any serious objections.

Considering the exceptional circumstances and peculiar facts of the case and considering the undertaking given by learned counsel for petitioner, this Court permits petitioner to deposit 50% of the cheque amount to the credit of C.C.No.114 of 2018 dated 27.02.2024, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
