Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and her property on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2016 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide adequate Police protection to the property and person of the petitioner, based on her representation dated 20.05.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. By consent, the Criminal Original Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after filing of the appeal against the exparte decree obtained by the opponents of the petitioner, the opponents frequently attempted to trespass into her property and to evict https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

her and also gave life threat to her and therefore, anticipating danger, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 20.05.2016 to the second respondent. As there was no response to the same, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is not co-operating with the enquiry, however, the second respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits. 5.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will cooperate with the respondents for enquiry.

6.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law forthwith.
