This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to file final report in Crime No.587 of 2019 dated 20.08.2019.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the de-facto complainant in this case. Based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.587 of 2019, has been registered. The petitioner submits that he lost his 30 sovereigns of gold jewels and Rs.40,000/- cash. Thereby, he lodged a complaint. After registration of FIR, the respondent police having conducted investigation, so far has not filed any final report. Hence, this petition.

3.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that already they arrested the accused and recovered 16 grams of gold and the same was produced before the trial Court. Still, the case is under investigation. 2/5

However, they will complete the investigation within one month and file a final report.

4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this case, this Court recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within one [1] month from the date of this order. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation and to ensure that investigation is completed within time. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. 04.03.2025 Index : Yes / No MR 3/5
