Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.1178/2018/Oo.Va.4, dated 20.01.2020 and quash the same and directing the 1st respondent to allow the petitioner to join as Electrician in Oddanchatram Panchayat Union Office and consequently, direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as special artisan by implementing G.O.Ms.No.338, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 26.08.2010 within the time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the impugned order dated 20.01.2020 has been cancelled and the petitioner has been reinstated into service. 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that during the period of stay, the petitioner was not permitted to join duty.

3.In this regard, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority seeking for appropriate relief. As far as this Writ Petition is concerned, the impugned order of the second respondent dated 20.01.2020 is cancelled by the competent authority and therefore, the petitioner is allowed to join duty. W.P.(MD)No.5404 of 2020 further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
