2. Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents.

3. The Writ Petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection for conducting the 'Jallikattu' event on 22.04.2018 in the petitioner's village i.e., Sithannavasal Village, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Annavasal Via, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2018.

4. Though the petitioner seeks a direction for a larger relief, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner would limit his prayer to one, seeking consideration of representation dated 14.03.2018.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader seeks time towards consideration of the representation.

6. Accordingly, the Writ petition shall stand disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2018 solely on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, on or before 20.04.2018.
