ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to correct the name of the petitioner found in patta No.818 as well as the measurement found in the very same patta, based on the representations dated 31.01.2020 and 28.09.2020.
2.According to the petitioner, in the aforementioned patta, his name has been wrongly mentioned as "Boopathy" instead of "Muruga Boopathy" and the name of his brother has also been wrongly mentioned as "Subramani" instead of "Sivasubramanian". It is also the contention of the petitioner that the measurement of the property has been wrongly mentioned in Patta No.818. In such circumstances, the petitioner has given representations on 31.01.2020 and 28.09.2020 requesting the respondents to make 1/3
necessary corrections in patta No.818. Since the representations have not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Heard Mr.R.Murugaboopathy, (party in person), the writ petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representations are considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary party, whom the respondents deem fit to enquire.
