O R D E R

The petitioner filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and the employees of Cumbum Municipality for laying pipe line in Anbil Piriyal Kovil Street, Cumbum Town, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District, for providing drinking water supply to the petitioner's house bearing Door No.25, Anbil Piriyal Kovil Street.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) appearing for State. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner informs of unlawful obstructions caused by one Mariammal to laying of water pipe line to his residence in a common passage. Referring to the order made in M.P.No.2 of 2012 in S.A.No.236 of 2012 dated 28.08.2012, learned counsel would further submit that the right of use such pathway stands affirmed by an order of injunction passed by this Court.

4. In the circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to give police protection for limited purpose of laying water pipeline to his residence through a common pathway. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
