ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to 1/4

the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.2 of 2021 within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that since some of the accused persons viz., A1 and A2 in the said Crime Number are located in Srilanka and Malaysia, they are taking steps through extradition procedure to secure the above said persons.

3. In view of the above said submission, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.2 of 2021 within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
