ORDER
The petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 09.04.2018, seeking permission and give police protection to conduct the "Adalum Padalum" dance program at night 08.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m. on 19.04.2018 in pursuance to the festival of "Arulmigu Sri Thana Valarntha Muthumariamman Kovil" situated at Boothakudi Village, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukottai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. The application shall be submitted only by the trustees of the Temple or the committee of the Vizha Kzhuvinar or the organizers of the festival committee before the concerned respondent police. The petitioner has made a representation only on individual capacity. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Further, the programme is to be held on 19.04.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Therefore, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation along with the order copy to the second respondent. If any such application is made, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 18.04.2018, by taking into consideration of the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.7911 of 2018 dated 12.04.2018, if there is no rival claim to conduct the festival.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
