ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the second respondent and the learned counsel for the private respondents.

2.The only relief is made for expediting the proceeding initiated under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. by the first respondent. The first respondent is directed to conclude the proceedings initiated under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. as expeditiously as possible. It is well settled that the proceedings under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. are meant to be wrapped up expeditiously because they are initiated to cater to an emergent situation. There is no point in keeping such proceedings pending for more than eight months. 2/4

3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
