No.TN 65W 2273 along with FIR in Crime No.276 of 2017, dated 23.06.2017 to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing direction to the respondent to hand over the custody of the petitioner's vehicle viz., Ashok Leyland Tipper Lorry (Medium Goods Vehicle) bearing Regn. No.TN 65W 2273 along with FIR in Crime No.276 of 2017, dated 23.06.2017 to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the respondent Police is not an authority to register First Information Report under Section 102 of Cr.P.C. He would further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ state that the vehicle seized from the petitioner should be informed to the concerned Judicial Magistrate and hand over the vehicle.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the vehicle itself was handed over to the custody of the concerned Judicial Magistrate on 14.12.2017.

4. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
