Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission and police protection to conduct cultural program(Music and Dance) on 19.03.2020 during the temple festival of Arulmighu Muthu Mari Amman and Mudhali Vinayagar temples situated at Uthukuzhi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2020.

O R D E R

The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to permit him to conduct the petition mentioned event.

2. The petitioner's counsel states that there is no rival claim and the issue has no implication for maintenance of law and order.

3. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to issue proceedings permitting the petitioner to hold the event. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions as regards timings and all other aspects in the permission proceedings.
