Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give the petitioner supply of electricity for the construction of her proposed building in Re-survey No.65/4A of Palukal Village, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District, within a time to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

All that the petitioner seeks is providing supply of electricity to enable the petitioner to construct the proposed building in the petition mentioned survey number. This Court ordered notice to the respondents. It is seen that there is no impediment for complying with the petitioner's request.

2. Therefore, respondents 2 and 3 are directed to give a temporary connection to the petitioner so as to enable her to

construct the proposed building in question. Of course the said temporary connection can be made permanent subject to the fulfillment of the usual formalities. Respondents 2 and 3 shall provide connection forthwith and without any delay subject to the payment of necessary charges by the petitioner.
