O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the trial court for the speedy disposal of the case in Spl S.C No. 12 of 2022 on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Dindigul.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the case was registered in the year 2021 and final report was filed in the year 2022. Still the case is pending before the trial Court.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that nine witnesses have been examined on the side of the prosecution. However, they have not been cross examined by the accused. According to him, three more witnesses have to be examined on the side of the prosecution. 4.Considering the rival submissions made, this criminal original petition is allowed with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the 2/4

proceedings in Spl.S.C.No.12 of 2022, within a period of four months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
