ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is the sole accused and she was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.04.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 7, 13(2) r/w. 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Crime No.3 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the petitioner is working as a Senior Draughtsman in the Office of Special Thasildar, Natham Settlement Office, Pudukottai District, for getting copies of sketch and "A" Register, she demanded Rs.5,000/- as advance and accepted the same.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody from 24.04.2015 and she may be released on bail.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody from 24.04.2015, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pudukottai and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.
