This petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent herein to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of the complaint made before the 2nd respondent dated 12.10.2013.

2.The petitioner seeks police protection to his life and limb through his complaint dated 12.10.2013. Now, almost 5 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
