Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent in M.H.S.Confdl.No.05/2023, dated 27.01.2023 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce

the body or detenu, namely, Rasu alias Selvaraj, S/o.Chelladurai, aged about 34 years now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.1105, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department dated 27.02.2023, submitted that the detention order has been revoked. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
