O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018 given to transfer and repost the petitioner from Veeli Nayakanpatti Village panchayat to Kullalakundu village Panchayat as Panchayat Secretary within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.R.Gandhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner is that, though more than 5 years, he has been working in the present station as a Panchayat Secretary, he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has not been given transfer to the place, where he was originally working, even though there is a vacancy in that place. The petitioner has given representations on 05.03.2018 and 28.03.2018. Therefore, the petitioner submits that if the said representations are directed to be considered and an order to that effect is passed, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader in this regard.

5.In view of the innocuous prayer sought for herein through the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition, with the consent of both sides, is disposed of at the admission stage, by passing this following order:

"The second respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 05.03.2018 and 28.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".
