ORDER
This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, to dispose the referred Charge Sheet filed by the first respondent on 05.09.2010 in Crime No.499 of 2010 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. The petitioner is the third accused in Crime No.499 of 2010 which was registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. It is stated that after investigation, it was found that the petitioner was not involved in crime and that therefore, a referred Charge Sheet was also filed by the first respondent. It is further stated that the referred Charge Sheet filed by the first respondent on 05.09.2010 in Crime No.499 of 2010 is not yet disposed of and that a direction for disposal of the referred Charge Sheet in Crime No.499 of 2010 will be in the interest of justice.
4. Having regard to the facts narrated by the petitioner and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- "The learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, is directed to dispose of the referred Charge Sheet filed by the first respondent on 05.09.2010 in Crime No.499 of 2010 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
