The petitioners are figuring as accused in Crime No.647 of 2019 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 . 2.The defacto complainant Jeya @ Jeyalakshmi has come to the Court campus today. But she could not come to the Court hall on account of the restrictions imposed in the wake of corona endemic.
