ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent viz., the Joint Commissioner, Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Madurai, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2023 and initiate enquiry under Section 63(e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, within the time frame.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation has been made before the wrong authority and that the same has to be made before the Joint Commissioner, Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Dindigul.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to submit his

representation before the Joint Commissioner, Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Dindigul, who shall on receipt of the representation dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
