This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 3rd respondent to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 04.11.2017.

2. According to the Additional Public Prosecutor, during enquiry, the petitioner made a statement before the respondents that they shall not proceed with the complaint. In view of the said statement, the complaint was closed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner disputed the above statement and sought liberty to approach the appropriate forum under the provisions of law.
