Mr.S.S.Manoj, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Petition has been filed to modify the condition that "7(ii) the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent Police daily at 10.00 a.m until further 1/4

orders." imposed in the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD). No.1693 of 2025, dated 12.02.2025.

2. Mr.C.Deepakkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly and he prays for relaxation of the said condition.

3. Mr.S.S.Manoj, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent- Police submits that though the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly without any violation, in view of the offence involved in this case under the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003, he prays for a modification of the condition imposed by this Court.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in the said Criminal Original Petition.

5. Accordingly, this petition is modified and condition No.7(ii) imposed by this Court in the order dated 12.02.2025 passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.1693 of 2025, is hereby 2/4

modified and the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned (*) Judicial Magistrate I, Mettur, weekly twice (i.e., on Monday and Friday) at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
