Respondents P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondents to issue the patta to the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.88/4 and 87/1 situated at Kundoor Village, Tiruvarambur Taluk, Trichirappalli District on the basis of the application dated 12.12.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of patta based on the sale certificate issued to him and duly registered on 19.11.2024. The petitioner has also given an application to the second respondent on 12.12.2024 for issuance of patta. The petitioner only seeks an expeditious disposal of the said application for issuance of patta in his name based on the sale certificate.

2. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. The petitioner has purchased the subject property in a SARFAESI proceedings and sale certificate has been duly issued to the petitioner by the Authorised Officer and the same has also been 2/5

registered on the file of Sub-Registrar concerned in Document No.7236 of 2024.

5. In view of the above, there can be no impediment for the respondents to mutate the patta in the name of the petitioner based on the registered sale certificate issued to the petitioner. The writ petition is therefore, allowed with a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 12.12.2024 for issuance of patta, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
