This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the second respondent, on the basis of the petitioners complaint dated 09.01.2025.
2.According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute pending between the petitioner and the second respondent. The second respondent disturbed the possession and threatened the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner gave the complaint, for which, C.S.R.No.39 of 2025 was assigned. However, the same has not been considered. Hence this petition has been filed.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that till date, the petitioner has lodged three complaints, for which, C.S.R.No.10, 11 and 39 of 2025 were assigned respectively. The second respondent is none other than an employee of the petitioner's sister. Due to civil dispute, those three complaints were lodged by the petitioner. He would further submit that 2/5
the petitioner's complaints will be considered and disposed of within a week.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to pass order.
5.Since the first respondent has admitted the receipt of the petitioner's complaint, he is directed to complete the enquiry and dispose of the same, within a period of one week from the date of this order in accordance with law.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
