2021 seeking for allotment of free or monthly installment houses which were constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Athikulam, Madurai District. 2.It is the case of the petitioners that they are eligible for allotment of a house and therefore, they have given a representation to the second respondent seeking for allotment of free or monthly installment houses which were constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Athikulam, Madurai District. W.P.(MD)Nos.5044 to 5051 of 2022 said representations have not been considered till date, they have filed these Writ Petitions.

3.Heard Mrs.K.B.V.Srimathi, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioners' representations seeking for allotment of a house at the aforementioned place is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 27.12.2021 seeking for allotment of free or monthly installment houses which were constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at Athikulam, Madurai District, and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioners.
