This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament on 28.04.2018 evening 6.00 p.m to 29.04.2018 till night 9 p.m at Ambedkar Play Ground, Melathuru, T.Kallikudi Village, Alangudi Anjanam Post, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District along with 48 kg wait lift persons will participate in the above tournament and also to provide necessary police protection on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

09.04.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament on 28.04.2018 evening 6.00 p.m to 29.04.2018 till night 9 p.m at Ambedkar Play Ground, Melathuru, T.Kallikudi Village, Alangudi Anjanam Post, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 26.04.2018. The petitioner shall enclose a copy of a representation dated 09.04.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
