This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, directing the second respondent to register a case against the accused persons on the complaint dated 17.10.2017.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has given a statement before the second respondent police, stating that it would suffice that the complaint may be enquired into by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Uthamapalaym. Recording the said statement given by the petitioner, the complaint has been closed by the second respondent.
