O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking to call for the entire records connected with the case in Crime No. 564 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same as illegal.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State.

3.The petitioners are arrayed as accused for the alleged offence under Section 420 IPC in Crime No.564 of 2012. Today, the compromise memo dated 28.04.2015 duly signed by both sides and attested by both counsel has been filed, wherein it has been submitted that FIR can be quashed. This Court has perused the compromise memo.

4.Considering the submissions made and after going through the relevant documents including the offence alleged against the petitioners, this Court is inclined to quash the proceedings as no useful purpose would be served by keeping the FIR any longer. Accordingly, the First Information Report pertaining to the case in Crime No. 564 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, is quashed. The compromise memo shall form part of record.
