ORDER

Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2025 to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application dated 12.12.2024.

3. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The petitioner has inherited the subject property from his father in whose name revenue records has also been mutated. The petitioner claiming to be in possession of the subject land, made an application to the respondents 1 and 2 for survey and fix four boundaries of his property on 12.12.2024. Thereafter, he has given a representation to the 1st respondent on 27.01.2025.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner only seeks to dispose of his representation for survey and fix four boundaries, the writ petition is allowed with a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application dated 12.12.2024, followed by a representation dated 27.01.2025, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In view of the above observations, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
