ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 22.01.2025 within a time frame as directed by this Court.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner having purchased the subject lands under a registered sale deed dated 24.09.2012 has sought for mutation of online records, more specifically, the patta in his name. The petitioner has made a representation even as early as in the year 2018 and thereafter, he has given a representation on 22.01.2025. It is also the case of the petitioner that the second respondent even as early as on 04.09.2019 had 2/5

recommended for mutation in favour of the petitioner, but however, the first respondent has not passed any orders till date.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on merits and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2025 for mutating the online records Patta, Chitta and FMB in the name of the petitioner. The said exercise shall be carried out within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
