Respondent/Writ Petitioner Prayer in WMP(MD).No.4112 of 2025 :- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,to extend the time for the period Six more months to comply with the order of this Honble Court from 17.02.2015 to 15.08.2025 as directed by this Honble Court in WP(MD).No. 20227 of 2015 dated 18.09.2024 and thus render justice. Prayer in WP(MD).No.20227 of 2015 :- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition is filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, directing the respondents to pay compensation for the 1199 square meters land acquired from petitioner in Melvalavu village Survey No.104/1A for Melur to Samuthrapatti road within time stipulated by this court. 2/5

ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.S.Kameswaran, Government Advocate, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/s.R.Alagumani, Advocate for the respondents, this Court made the following order:

The petitioners, who are the respondents in the writ petition seeks further six months time to comply with the order of this Court dated 18.09.2024. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners/respondents would submit that actual steps have been taken to comply with the order of this Court and since many departments are involved, more time is being consumed and the petitioners intend to comply with the order of this Court in true letter and spirit and therefore, further six months time is sought for. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent/writ petitioner would oppose the said application and contend that the subject lands of the writ petitioner were forcibly taken over for more than 30 years back without paying any compensation. 5.Considering all these factors alone, this Court directed the official respondents to arrive at the compensation to be paid to the petitioner and also release the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order dated 18.09.

at the amount to be calculated and paid to the respondent/writ petitioner. However, considering the difficulties expressed by the petitioners/official respondents, time is extended upto 31.05.2025. It is made clear that no further extension of time shall be sought for.

7.This petition is ordered accordingly.
