Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner is a practicing lawyer. He is said to have been involved in two cases. Even according to the learned Government Advocate, both the FIRs pertain to the petitioner's participation in some agitations. They are political in nature. In any event, there is no impediment for processing the petitioner's application. I direct the first respondent to process the petitioner's application for issuance of passport and issue the passport subject to the fulfilment of other usual formalities.
