PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to direct the respondent Police Not to Harass the Petitioners and their son Kanagapandian on returning to India, based on any false complaint by the said Kasturi.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed directing the respondents not to harass the petitioners and their son Kanagapandiyan on returning to India based on any false complaint by the daughter-in-law of the petitioners 1 and 2.
2. It could be seen from the records that the first and second petitioner son namely, one Kanagapandiyan got married to one Kasthuri and due to matrimonial dispute, H.M.O.P. was filed and later it was dismissed for default. As on today, the defacto complainant's husband is in abroad.
3. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, the daughter-in-law of the petitioners 1 and 2 has lodged a complaint alleging that they had forcibly obtained signature in compromise deed touching upon the matrimonial disputes.
4. Considering the fact that the complaint was lodged 11.07.2025 and so far, they have neither registered an FIR nor completed the preliminary enquiry, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5. With the above said facts, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
