O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

2. This Court had directed the respondent to file final report within a period of four weeks. Alleging that the direction given by this Court has not been complied with, this contempt petition has been filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that final report has been filed and cognizance of the offence has also taken and the case is presently pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, in C.C.No.179 of 2022.
