This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to register a case on the complaint of the parents of the petitioner dated 08.11.2017. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint of the parents of the petitioner dated 08.11.2017, a case has already been registered in Crime No.15 of 2017, for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, on the file of the second respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.
